About the Fraternities and Sororities: Our youth learn by watching what we do as adults. If alumni chapters are still “pledging” people, we can’t blame undergraduates for continuing this practice. It will not stop until we start practicing what we preach–pull charters, expel members (collegiate and alumni), and press charges against those who violate the policies.
I think you are exactly right, Brother Holmes. Someone needs to step up and provide guidance. We should look to the alumni chapters to do this, but they, too, are involved in the foolishness. It is sad.
